The deep well pump is a vertical multistage centrifugal pump that lifts water from a deep well. As the groundwater level drops, the use of deep well pumps is more extensive than the use of general centrifugal pumps. However, some users have problems such as improper installation, insufficient water supply, no water pumping, and even damage to the well. So how to choose a deep well pump is particularly important.
(1) According to the well diameter and water quality, the pump type is initially determined. Different types of pumps have certain requirements on the diameter of the wellbore. The large external dimension of the pump is smaller than the diameter of the well 25~50mm. If the well is skewed, the pump should be smaller in size. In short, the pump body part cannot be close to the inner wall of the well, and the well is damaged by the vibration of the waterproof pump.
(2) According to the water output of the well, the flow rate of the well pump is selected. Each well has an economically superior water output, and the flow rate of the pump should be equal to or less than the water output when the well water level drops to half the well water depth. When the pumping amount is greater than the water output of the well, it will cause the wall of the well to collapse and affect the service life of the well; if the pumping amount is too small, the benefit of the well will not be fully exerted. Therefore, a good method is to conduct a pumping test on the well, and the water supply may provide a large amount of water as the basis for selecting the pump flow. The pump flow rate is based on the model number or the number indicated on the instrument.
(3) According to the depth of the well water level and the head loss of the water pipeline, determine the head that the well pump actually needs, that is, the head of the well pump, which is equal to the vertical distance (net head) of the water level to the water surface of the pool plus the loss head. The loss head is usually 6 to 9% of the net head, typically 1 to 2 m. The depth of the first stage impeller below the water pump is preferably 1 to 1.5 m. The total length of the downhole section of the pump tubing shall not exceed the length of the incoming shaft as specified in the pump's instructions.
(4) Wells with well water content exceeding one ten thousandth of a well should not be installed with deep well pumps. Because the sand content of the well water is too large, such as more than 0.1%, it will accelerate the wear of the rubber bearing, causing the pump to vibrate and shorten the life of the pump.
